Dr. Damon Welch has been studying medicine since 2005. He graduated from Rolling college with a Bachelor of Arts. He obtained his Ophthalmology degree from the University of Florida, where he also completed his residency. Dr. Welch also completed an internship at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Welch is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Eye Surgery, Florida Medical Association, and Polk County Medical Association.
Dr. Damon Welch grew up in Winter Haven, Fla., attending Winter Haven High School and graduating from Lake Region High School. After graduating from Rollins College he completed his medical school training and ophthalmology residency training at the University of Florida. Go Gators!
He is happily married to his wife, Christina, who is a captain in the Air Force and has bravely served multiple tours in Iraq as a search and rescue medical doctor. Dr. Welch enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, jogging and playing ultimate Frisbee. He is active in the community and his local church.
